SANTA ANA – (District 2) Supervisor Katrina Foley announces the appointment of Newport Beach resident and retired Police Chief Dave Snowden as her Public Safety Policy Advisor.

“I’m grateful Chief Snowden agreed to join our team,” said Supervisor Foley. “His long-standing record of public service in both the US Army and in law enforcement, brings a depth of knowledge and experience.   As we work together to respond to concerns regarding public safety and the challenges related to reentry of incarcerated individuals of the Second District, I know that I can trust Chief Snowden’s judgment, experience, and advice as we partner with our local law enforcement, non-profit, and veterans serving community members. I am confident his leadership skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders will help us to develop innovative workforce development programs, especially those supporting our Veterans.”
